Another shot from my hiking tour to the Pirchkogel (2.835m/9.301ft) - this time I'm looking towards the Oetztaler Alpen.

In Austria, we don't have the highest mountains, but we have the highest number of peaks above 3.000m (9.842ft) and most of them can be found in the Oetztaler Alpen.

Altogether there are more than 960 peaks higher than 3.000m in Austria, in The Tyrol (the county I live in at the moment) there are more than 700 (!).

So you see, for us it's almost harder to find a spot on low ground than somewhere high up ;)
