The nights are getting colder, and before they are getting too cold to stand for more than an hour next to the camera and freezing your ... off, I decided to go for a startrails photo session yesterday evening.

Actually I wanted to take the photo at another place, but I couldn't really get there, so I decided to try an alternative spot.

At first I wasn't quite happy with the spot, as the camera had to face East-North-East and not South, and then, after about 5 minutes the moon appeared (which wasn't in my plans).
I was afraid that the photo wouldn't turn out right, as the moon is too bright, but in the end, I think the result is quite ok....
